100% Original 1969-8-23 postcard talking about WOODSTOCK, THE WHO & VAN MORRISON

Description: 100% Original Vintage 1969 NEW YORK sent Post Card describing to his friend in Brooksville Florida his highlights of the WOODSTOCK music festival. He also glued a clipping out of a NY newspaper or magazine with an upcoming VAN MORRISON show. "Dear Tom, Sat. Aug 23I saw the Who at the Woodstock Festival, they did their whole Tommy thing then Summertime Blues. about half way through the sun came up behind them it was really a gas. Van- has got a raw group more rock like. Its really groovey to have a gig . and we finally got some sunshine in NY.Love, Cam" He wrote this only 6 days after WOODSTOCK ended. I don't think he realized just how important this event was. This is a really cool personal account of The Woodstock Festival. I don't know that much about this festival but I do remember it rained there so his description of the sun rising is amazing. ________________________ 100% Original vintage 1969 postcard with VAN MORRISON show glued to card Post marked NY NY and sent to BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA August 25, 1969 Condition:Great condition for being 55 years old. Has not been much light at all. I've had this for decades and it was well protected. Has some creasing but was probably done by Post Office when sent.
