The Twenty-Fourth Edition printed for J Buckland, W Strahan, J F and C Rivington, etc., etc., London, in 1782. Here we have a manual of Festivals and Fasts, including Saints days arranged following the Anglican church year from Advent to All Saints. The Companion for Fasts follows as a section in its own right, as the Twenty-Fifth Edition, printed for J Buckland, W Strahan, J F and C Rivington, etc., etc., London, in 1781. The book includes two full-page b/w illustrations.Brown leather boards with a gilt border. Wear to the boards with marks and a small chip along the edge of the front board. Five raised bands with gilt decoration on the spine. The leather is worn and the the top of the spine chipped. Bookplate on the front endpaper with name of previous owner opposite. Browning and light foxing to endpapers and pages. Front hinge slightly cracked but all pages are firm and the book is in very good condition. xv, 560 pages, plus Index and Table of Prayers 16 pages. 21.5 x 13.5 cm.We have over 2000 items in our Ebay shop on a range of subjects, so please feel free to have a browse and see if anything else takes your fancy.Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.
