Description: 1899 Barber Silver Half Dollar ANACS EF40- XF-Nice Better Reverse Terminal Toner--It appears that the date has been repunched/misaligned by the mint during creating and there's evidence of others on this website linked below. I've forgot to look for this lately so check your own for sure but this one is an example and it probably adds a small premium to the item...the Reverse is very sharp and likely half a grade under assessed. Feel free to reach out and chat/discuss--this is the ONE coin I know best! ;) I was lucky to get this one at a better price so you will too! The possibility that there is doubling in the Liberty area exists too - could be DDO if you notice the profile in front of her face on the Obverse! http://www.barbercoins.org/Barber-Halves-Varieties.shtml ---$2 Shipping--- If I was rich I'd crack this coin and gamble and send it to NGC for conservation - it's least a 45 and half of the time it's a 50-53.....the reason it hasn't received it in this holder is likely due to the heavy terminal tone......but I bet there's some luster left on this one....it's got a "look to it" on further review....I've said enough - happy hunting all! ============================================================================================================================================================================================================
