Description: 1900-1907 Japanese Hand Colored UDB Postcard Cherry Blossom Time Unposted Japan Seller's sweet Japanese-American aunt offered this in order to interpret this image: "Cherry Blossom Time - Long Time ago this picture is taken (I guessed from outfit people wearing)". Neither a lithographic print nor a real photo postcard, but a collotype or similar photo-mechanical method using a real photograph to create a printed image approximating the resolution of the original photo. Corner and edge wear as seen in photos. Corners and edges bumped, worn, missing material. Rippled by moisture on right half of lower inch of card as seen from image side. Card bowed so does not lie flat. Light spotting both sides. Spot of darker foreign material stuck to the left o f the word "Post Card" on address side.
