1902 LIBERTY HEAD "V" NICKEL - VERY FINE

Description: Here is a 1902 LIBERTY V NICKEL - CIRCULATED VERY FINE and minted in Philadelphia to add to your collection. This type was issued from 1883 - 1913 and is composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel. This features a portrait of Lady Liberty facing left and wearing a crown with "LIBERTY" on it. The reverse shows a large roman numeral "V" surrounded by corn stalks. The Indian Head nickel was designed by Charles E. Barber. The mint mark is located on the reverse to the left of "cents". A mint mark only appears on the 1912 variety. This nickel appears in a VERY FINE CIRCULATED condition. The winning bidder will receive the coin in the pictures provided.
