Description: Here's a stunning, large, silver, Prussian, 3-mark coin from 1908, featuring Kaiser Wilhelm II on the obverse... and the mighty German Empire eagle on the reverse. While I don't grade coins, the brilliant luster on this one makes me think it's in AU or BU condition. There's just a touch of silver tarnish on the obverse edge. This coin is 90% silver and weighs 16.667 grams. It's 2.24 mm thick! From what I've read, 1908 was the lowest mintage year for this coin, which was produced from 1908 to 1912. Along the edge, you’ll find incuse lettering (and symbols) with the words: "GOTT MIT UNS" or… "God (is) with us."
