Description: I have for sale the Arkansas Medal that was struck for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition that was held in San Francisco, California. This medal is listed in the So Called Dollar catalog as HK 403. The medal is aluminum, it is 1 1/2 inch in diameter and encapsulated in an NGC holder and graded MS 62 by them. The medal was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company. The obverse at the rim reads PANAMA PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION - SAN FRANCISCO 1915. In the center it shows the Arkansas state seal. The reverse at the rim reads ARKANSAS EXPOSITION FUND - THE LAND OF PLENTY. In the center it shows a building and under the building it reads ARKANSAS BUILDING - ARKANSAS - SUPPLIES THE WORLD - WITH ALUMINUM.
