Description: Absolutely gorgeous early reprint of a World War 1 banking poster from Banca Italiana DiSconto (Italian Discount Bank) from 1917. This 1938 reprint of E. Lionne's wartime original is bright and vibrant and showcases the renown image of child and soldier and support for the troops during the war effort. The poster measures 20" x 27 1/2" and is offset lithograph on paper. Short, clean tear, 2 1/2", 2/3 down from top, left side and slight tanning and wear to edges (as seen in photos). The image area remains remarkably clear and bright, colors vibrant and solid. No writing or other markings. Some waviness to the paper but no folds or creases. Waviness will press out under glass.
