Description: Although you may find many of these famous prints of "Minnehaha" done by author James Arthur, this is an original LITHOGRAPH print of the original that was first completed in 1919. This is an antique print and not a newer reproduction. James Arthur did a spectacular job emulating "MINNEHAHA," the Indian Maiden, as she dips her feet in the river bed. It is indeed a beautiful representation of Native American culture as well as a snapshot in time. This beautifully matted and framed piece of art measures 19" wide by 24" wide (print itself), but the entire size is 24" wide by 29.5" in height. The print mat almost lends a sense of 3-D with the ivory trim immediately around the print, and the matting itself is a deep forest green, finally framed by a dark finished all-wood frame. There are a few almost imperceptible flecks on frame lower left (see photos). The hanging apparatus is evidenced in photos. The mat and framer is tagged and initialed on lower back. UPC 001443
