Description: This beautiful piece has recently been cleaned and oiled and is in good condition. Our first test was with it sitting on a carpeted floor and the treadle would bump the floor occasionally. After moving it onto a hard floor for the test shown in the video, the treadle did not hit the floor and it also operated more quietly since it was more stable sitting on the hard flooring. It has a few minor cosmetic defects such as light scratches on the side panels and the decorative gold color is worn away in a few places on the base and in the word Singer on the back of the machine (see related photos).
