This photo shows Mrs. Muhlhouser, a neighbor of Snyders' who with her husband discovered the body of the murdered art editor, and Mrs. Figdeon, at whose house the party was held the night of the murder at which Mr. and Mrs. Snyder attended. May Ruth Snyder was an American murderer. Her execution in the electric chair at New York's Sing Sing Prison in 1928 for the murder of her husband, Albert Snyder, was recorded in a highly-publicized photograph.
