The pretty lady stands 8 inches tall, while the two Army men are nearly 9 inches tall. Rittgers pieces are quite large and it's a huge part of their appeal. They are chalkware pieces and I'm told that they are all hand painted. This set is really nice and quite an eye catcher and 100% original. They were distributed by Suttle and Rittgers, out of Chicago Illinois, and were very popular prewar collectables and this set is apparently quite rare.
