1950s Indian Chief Card Logan Mingoes Tribe Kelloggs Cereal Box F273-7A SMALL

Description: Up for auction here is A card from the FAMOUS INDIAN DRAWINGS series that was issued by the Kelloggs Company sometime during the 1950’s. Each “card” was printed on the backs of their brands of Kelloggs cereal boxes and then could be cut out by the parent or child to be collected or hung up. The series is listed in Burdick’s American Card Catalogue as series F273-7a. Burdick fails to mention that there are two different size variation for this series a Larger one and a smaller variation. I imagine this is because of the different sizes of Cereal Boxes these were printed on. The Card is of the smaller variation and measures 6 inches by 6 ¼ inches approximately. The front features a fantastic portrait of the featured Indian Chief and a brief bio. Of the Chief. This one features Logan of the Mingoes. It does have a tiny cut notch at one corner, as this was hand cut from the box, It is free from creases with strong color. I have scanned the front of the card fairly large so you can determine the condition for yourself.
