The storybook romance was climaxed in a simple ceremony in church with the Reverend Anthony Bregalato, pastor, officiating. Some 2,000 persons lined the streets or peered from tenement windows to see the climax of the rich girl-poor boy romance. Miss Roosevelt's foster father, John Hay Whitney is escorting the bride.
