Description: The New England Glass Company, which later became Libbey, was founded in East Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1907 Libbey became the first company to use a machine to produce blown glass tumblers. In 1916 Edward D Libbey and Michael Owens formed the Libbey Owens Sheet Glass Company. The Libbey Glass Company was purchased by Owens-Illinois Glass Company in 1935. The Train pattern was produce by Libbey during the 1960s. This is a set of 7 in near pristine condition.
