Description: Vintage orgionally Cherry red sanded to bare wood includes all original hardware with case. Looks like neck may have been broken andvis reason why sanded to bare wood. The truss rod is in place a rusty nt from sitting for many years. Look at pix of body neck area for posable repair made, not sre but looks fresh compared to rest of guitar. Serial number 38616 last of 20 from 1964 according to Guild mfg. Chart. Bought to restore but my paint smart friend passed before we could start project. I am not good enough to attempt the restoration and needs new owner who is guitar luther and can reconstruct this vintage rare guitar. My original Guild was owned by former guitarist from Loretta Lynns startup band member who gave me my first Guild and acoustic '59 sunburst Gibson. What a loss! Unfortunately we left them it in Washington State to move to Alaska and poeple who were storing it lost contact with us. Sad loss and the only one I found affordable since was a stripped restoration project. This guitar deserves to be refinished and enjoy once again. My skill level isn't enough to complete the task. Looks complete and body is sanded to bare wood. I paid alot for this but was less than one in complete playing condition. Hope it finds good owner, gets restored and enjoy what it is.
