Performers include Chuck Berry (the headliner), Dionne Warwick, Little Anthony & the Imperials, Joe Tex, Solomon Burke, Betty Everett, Walter Jackson, The Ad Libs, Ronny Dove, The Orlons, Alvin Cash & the Crawlers, King Coleman, and the Imperial Show-Stoppers Band. Packed with b&w photos of all the stars. Nice biography pages on many of the stars, including Chuck Berry (quite extensive) & Dionne Warwick. A great R&B / R&R lineup and an excellent early reference. This item is considered in FAIR condition with miscellaneous surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface creasing with misc. spot ink doodling/writing on front & back covers. Minor ink writing on blank inner cover. Cover has approx. 85% spine edge separation and is loose from staples. Inner spreads have varying degrees of bottom spine edge separation (largest sep. being approx. 4.25"). Two inner mid-spreads are loose from staples. Moderate staple oxidation. Several minor edge tears with no chips apparent. Complete. Overall, despite defects, we feel it is still in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos). This original booklet would make a great find for the CHUCK BERRY and/or VINTAGE POP MUSIC enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed items are rated - (6). U.S.A.
