Test Flow - Water flows from one of the outlets, left, on the discharge side of the forebay pumping plant as one of the giant pumps is tested. Each of the 6000 horsepower pumps has its own outlet. This view is from the forebay side. The building showing above the outlet structure is the syphon breaker installation which will eliminate backflow or surge in the Delta-Mendota Canal.
