Description: PLEASE READ! Here's another beauty from Johnny Blazer's Buried Treasures! This is the Hot Wheels Redline Custom AMX (AMC American Motors) released in 1969. This is the US version. This car was a basketcase when I got it so I took it apart, stripped off the paint and polished it. I didn't zinc plate it as I feel it looks more authentic this way, however some metal defects will show through. Then I repainted it in a beautiful spectraflame Hot Pink. The paint is gorgeous, any imperfections are due to the lighting. It was put back together with my version of repo rivets. Here's the parts list: Glass : original (some scuffs)Interior: original white Axles: original straightened Wheels: repo US bearing Hood: original (good hinges) The base was polished up and the taillight is NOT retouched. The engine was very corroded though and I ended up painting it chrome, but it looks gorgeous! This is a very hard color to find and you could easily pay 2 to 3 times for an original! So if you've been wanting that minty hot pink Custom AMX but don't want to pay the HUGE price tag, this beauty plays the part! It will fit right into your rainbow collection so DO NOT PASS IT UP!
