One of three home dialysis machines purchased with 900,000 Betty Crocker coupons and $1000 from a charity ball held by the Tampa Tritons stands in Tampa General Hospital Thursday. Two policemen, Lyle Smith of Pinellas Park and Joe Kotvas of Tampa, acted as coordinators for the 6 1/2 month coupon drive, which brought $3,500 from General Mills Incorporated. Charles Denman, a Hillsborough County businessman, directed the drive. The machines will be used by patients whose kidneys have ceased removing waste from their bloodstream, as soon as the patients complete a 10-week training program.Photo measures 8 x 10inches.
