1993 Paramount Waterford Schwinn R5.0 59cm Lugged Steel 8 Speed 6400 Road Bike

Description: This is a used c.1993 semi-custom Paramount R5.0 59cm 700C lugged steel 8 speed Shimano 600 6400 road bike. Handbuilt in Waterford, WI, with silver-brazed lugs. It is in great cosmetic condition; the finish on the hubs is clean and bright, and the red "marble" paint is in great condition with minor scuffs and chips as pictured. The wheelset is in excellent condition with negligible brake track wear. Mechanically the bike needs TLC – degraded cable housings will require replacement, and likely also cables. Shifters are "dead" and will need to be thoroughly cleaned internally or replaced. Tires are significantly dry-rotted, cracking, and will require replacement. Bar tape worn, but intact. Sold as-is in pictured condition. Please ask any clarifying questions prior to purchase.
