Description: A 19c black forest cuckoo clock dating to C1880 in excellent condition and full working order. The bellows have been restored and sounds really nice with the bird flapping its wings and opening its beak. It strikes a coiled gong on the half and full hours and works correctly. Considering the intricate detail of the carving its in super condition and i cant see any damage or breaks, The two train fusee movement is in good working order having been overhauled and oiled recently and although i havent found a makers mark [it may be on the front plate of movement] it is of good enough quality to be by a good maker. A large size standing 23 inches high to top of carved finial[59cm] x 14 ins wide[36cm] x 8 ins deep[20cm].
