Description: This is a non-distinct fabric ribbon for a republican party worker who was at the polls on Election Day watching to make sure some shenanigans weren't going on. The style of this and the printing in gold makes it likely used sometime in the 1872-1896 time period, but it's impossible to say for sure since we weren't around at that time. But it was Typographical Union made in Newark, New Jersey from Local No 103, so research on that local might pin things down time period-wise. But we'd rather go kayaking. It's 2 3/8" x 6.5" and is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase because you can see there's fraying on it top and bottom. And there's an area on back at the bottom with stuff left on it from the original manufacturer's tag. Darn, they should have left that on it! S & H on this will be $5.50 sent well-protected first class with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence, and we'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we won't. We just issue a refund for any overpayment. h21
