Description: Up for bid is a beautiful vintage Christmas postcard. The artist has provided a wonderful lithographic illustration of two lovely full-length angels hovering in the clouds. One is ringing bells while the other is blowing a horn. When you supersize image 1 you can better see the details. Glitter has been tastefully applied to small portions of the card as a highlighter. The colors are still vivid, and the artistry is really great. This beautiful postcard has not been posted, and has no handwriting on its undivided back. NOTE: Production of undivided back postcards stopped after 1907 due to a change in policy by the US Postal Service, and an agreement with the international postal community. This agreement ushered in the "divided back era" and allowed messages to be handwritten on the reverse of postcards. This undivided back card does not have a vertical line that separates the address from the message sides. That puts its age at about 110 years old! What a truly wonderful card to use as decoration for the holidays, to give as a thoughtful gift, or to add to your Christmas or angels postcard collection. Better take action now, or it will be gone soon! 2 Beautiful Full-Length ANGELS In CLOUDS On Vintage Unused CHRISTMAS Postcard Click images to enlarge Description CHRYSTAL CITY CARDS PAPER ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES “Where Memories Are Chrystal Clear” Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
