Description: Vintage Wool Tweed Suit Fabric Measures 2 yards+8" x 28" (non standard, narrow width may mean it was hand woven on a loom) Weight: ~ 16 ozGorgeous wool tweed suiting of the kind they don't make any more. This fabric has a tabby weave in shades of brown and steel grey yarns, very like a Harris Tweed. There's the faint remains of a white trademark, but it's too partial to know if it's Harris Tweed or not. This is suitable for fall or winter weight suiting, coats, or something like a Victorian cape or Sherlock Holmes Ulster coat. Vintage, but has not been used for any thing. No tears, stains, moth damage or off odors.
