The £1 Trial 2015 coin, They are actually the least rarest of the three known £1 trial coins (the others being the 2014 and 2016 versions). With an original mintage of 235'000 coins, they where given out to companies to get their mechanisms right for the release of the 12 sided pound, given out on loan by the royal mint, most where returned to the mint and destroyed, so how many out there is a total unknown, a nice genuine example of this very rare coin. this lot comes from a sealed bag in the pictures, all the same in excellent condition, we sent a few away for grading, where they achieved the best known examples out there, given a top pop designation of MS64, pictures include the sealed bag they came in & the lot before they where sent away to the graders & the others placed into the final holders, please note purchase price is for a single coin from the sealed bag in the graded certified holder, in excellent top of the tree quality, given the top pop designation we got back from the graders, we have the non graded ones listed a bit cheaper on the site if you prefer !
