Description: This is KRISTIAN CAMPBELL's 1st Bowman Chrome Autograph, a TRUE BLUE Refractor #114/150. Please inspect pictures carefully as I've done my best to show all aspects. Sold as EX-MT or better, I cannot make any guarantees on grading. The upper L corner is less sharp than the others but I don't see an actual ding or fray. Again, carefully inspect the pictures shown, this is best seen in 1 and 4. See also pics 2&3 for lower corners, there is some acetate peel. No surface scratches or dimples and I don't see any noticeable print lines. Centering is excellent and clearly visible. Drafted with a 4th-rd compensation pick for losing Xander Bogaerts, Campbell had striking pre-draft similarities to the Sox' All-Star CF Jarren Duran. Unlike Duran, Campbell's power has shown up right away, and his exit velocities are already big-league plus (114+ mph). On top of that, he's done the exceptionally rare feat of maintaining his superb 15% walk rate while cutting his strikeouts by over 50%...**despite being promoted from A ball to AAA**. He's currently slashing .335/.442/.573 (1.015 OPS, leading all of minor league baseball among qualifiers). Add in 22 steals in 28 chances, nearly as many runs scored as strikeouts (89 vs 93), to go with 54 XBH, including 19 HR and 32 2B. Campbell offers a complete offensive package and the potential to play an up-the-middle key defensive position. It remains to be seen if he can turn himself into an elite defender the way Duran has, but the athleticism is certainly there.
