23 NEMESIS MTG Magic the Gathering Sealed Booster Packs MOGGCATCHER?

Description: HI! PLEASE READ THIS CARFULLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY! (I get paid by the word. Don't I wish!) I admit it. For the most part over the past 34 years, I missed MAGIC THE GATHERING. Oh, I bought some. I still have six sealed packs of Arabian Knights somewhere in my warehouse. And in the same warehouse I have a couple boxes each of Apocalypse and Nemesis that my four children will inherit. Other than that, I pretty much ignored Magic since most of my investment collectibles in the late 1990s centered on sports cards, Pokemon packs and boxes, and Beanie Babies. This is a Buy It Now listing for 23 sealed packs of Nemesis. That is about 2/3 of a box. As you probably know, this Magic expansion series came out in 2000. I remember buying a few boxes back then and probably turned down the opportunity for 20 more boxes. Sometimes--usually daily--I am an idiot. But as my second favorite comedian of all time Steven Wright jokes "If you had it all, where would you put it?" Anyway, I happened to glance on eBay to see how much Nemesis was listed. Holy cow. I was amazed. Very little. In fact, other than about 10 sealed boxes, there was very little in the way of booster packs. In fact, this is by far the largest pack lot of Nemesis listed on eBay! How could that be? I can find larger pack lots of 1973 Topps Baseball for sale--and those are 51 years old! Nemesis is only 24 years old. I would guess that 95% to 98% of Nemesis has already been opened. Remember, packs were cheaper then. (I am old enough to remember Hershey bars for a dime.) But these packs are still cheap. That is why my four children will inherit all my booster boxes of Magic. Hey, I was born at night, but not LAST night. Anyway, I digress. My two cents of advice--unless you are trying to complete this set--is to take these 23 packs out of the cardboard box I send it to you and save them for a rainy day, a snowy day, or a sunny day until about 2035. Longer, if you are under 50 years old. The price for these 23 factory sealed packs of Nemesis is just $648.00. THIS IS LESS THAN $29 PER PACK. I have seen SOLD packs recently as high as $58 per pack! THIS IS HOW I HAVE TO EARN A LIVING FOR THE PAST 28 YEARS, INCLUDING THE LAST 24 YEARS ON EBAY.
