Map of Ely on the reverse is 1940 History: The map was the property of an 82nd engineering Combat part of the 29th Blue & Gray Division from Ft. Belvoir VA. One of 100 maps of their route through Europe from the same soldier. This is an odd map as the 29th did not go East of the Elbe let alone to Luckenwalde, the home of Stalag 3. I do not know if paper was reused to print the Luckenwalde map on the reverse. This was heavily used.
