Rare Antique 1886 LANDERS FRARY & CLARK "Aetna Works" Mother of Pearl Sterling Band Silverplate Blunt Blade Dinner Knife 8", Set of 2 in good vintage condition. Needs cleaning and polishing. There are some signs of age, gentle scuffs, please see pictures for details. Landers, Frary & Clark was a housewares company based in New Britain, Connecticut in 1862. The firm expanded into cutlery manufacturing in 1866, when the firm inaugurated its Aetna Works manufacturing facility. Unfortunately, the Aetna Works burnt down in a fire in 1874. These are definitely a true piece of history and an Excellent Collectible Find, not to be missed! SET OF 2
