Description: This listing is for very Rare Vintage 1960’s Hawaiian Y.Y Yonemoto Store Porcelain Made in Japan Rice Bowls decorated with Hand Painted Ebi Shrimp or Prawns. The smaller shrimp and rim accents are gilded with gold. There is a red hallmark on the bottom that reads, "Y.Y Made in Japan." This mark was used on porcelain items made for the Yonemoto Store in Honolulu, Hawaii. Hiromune Yonemoto was one of the owners of the store. The bowls measures 5 3/4" in diameter (across) and 2 7/16" in height. The bowls are from an estate sale and there are 3 bowls available that look to have never been used or in hardly used condition. The price shown is per bowl. There is a 4th bowl that appears to have been used a lot and I will include that bowl for free. CONDITION: In very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or stains. One of the bowls has a very small imperfection from time of manufacture. Please see photos.
