Description: Up for SALE WITH A BUY IT NOW is: A hard to find, group of 3 ceramic, "true vintage" original boy Angel figurines, in different poses. Wings in the back are together as shown and they have hand painted faces and bright gold highlights (halos, bows and pajamas). All appear to be boys… although the one sitting in a “bag tied style of pajama” is a tot. Pajama’s (I can only describe) are “Bitsy” patterns, and each little flower, is slightly different in color and shape, although they are not Bitsy figurines, only the patterns on the PJ’s are similar. Not necessarily only for the Holiday season, therefore they can be displayed year round. The 3 wands are replacements, glitter plastic stars on wire & not the originals.. I've been told by collectors these are Shafford Christmas boy figurines. The tallest boy figurine (standing) is about 3 3/4 inches tall & smallest (tot) is 3” (soda can used only for size reference). Condition: All are marked with the number stamp 265. The bottoms once had felt (added by the previous owner), so there is green residue on the bottoms as shown. NO chips, cracks, repairs or hairlines … they do have overall age crazing to the glaze & some random rub marks from use. Faces are slightly dirty from having been stored/wrapped in newspaper.
