The total amount of entries in the initial 4 volumes amount to 45,694 main entries! With 2,277 illustrations! Volume 5 has additional words that came into use between 1948 and 1958, having come into usage after the author had published the original work. However that only takes up less than half the volume. The other half provides 4 additional and very important supplements. Of which include; Supplement 1. An exhaustive list of Hebrew pronouns and expressions that developed therefrom, whether stemming from foreign languages mythology, especially Greek and Latin or passed down through Scripture, Hebrew literature, and nationalistic literature. Supplement 2. A list of base root-words with their children under each entry. And the most useful part of this section is the fact that it indicates (Via a key and symbol scheme) the source of the word (Actually, the first time it was ever mentioned!) in time and historical/literary sense of all the words mentioned.
