Description: You are looking at an assorted lot of mixed oak pen blanks. These are primarily red oak but there may be an occasional white oak blank in the mix. Oak is an open grained wood, somewhat susceptible to tearing so a good, sharp chisel is recommended. I would say oak is medium difficulty turning due to the open grain and hardness.
