Description: For your consideration is this set of 8 crystal wine glasses in what I believe is the “Exquisit” pattern made by Riedel Crystal, circa 1950. Each is 8 7/8 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches in diameter at the top rim. Each will hold 10 ounces when filled completely to the rim or 8 ounces comfortably. They have very delicate thin stems. When tapped together they made a resonating tinging-ring sound. Each has the etched “CJR” square mark on bottom for Claud Josef Riedel who designed crystal for the company in the 1950s. His designs included this glass with long stems and smooth, undecorated bowls.These glasses are pre-owned and in excellent condition. They are clear with no fleabites, chips, cracks, staining or clouding. I am offering several other sets of Riedel Crystal in the “Exquisit” pattern this week.
