Description: Customize your 2005-2014 Mustangs with this track tested 1/4" solid Automotive ABS. This listing includes 2 side splitters and all necessary mounting hardware. Installation requires drilling into the lower rocker trim and bottom of the rear bumper. Installed or modified splitters are not returnable for a refund.FYI: The grainy side of the automotive ABS is the top/upper side of the splitter. The smoother side of the splitter is the bottom. The grainy side is extremely durable. Theses splitters are almost impossible to break which makes it so ideal for this applications. Please note that bottom smoother side may come with lines from manufacturer and the bottom side is very easily scratched, even a soft microfiber cloth can scratch because it is raw, unfinished ABS plastic. Some buyers have opted to have the bottom side painted and have installed the splitters upside down, allowing the painted side to be on top. The bottom, smooth side may have some sheen but it is not a finished product and it can scratch easily. The smooth side can be installed facing up or out, only if it is painted or you have a wrap overlaid on it.NOTICE: due to supply chain shortages of resins and increased petroleum costs (both used in making of plastics), the raw ABS material prices are increasing by $40 per unit as of February 28, 2022.
