Two "issues" with this item are that the focus mechanism is very stiff to operate. It works, just with a lot of effort. The rangefinder is working. The camera shutter speeds of 1 sec, 1/2, and 1/5th are slow and unreliable. Speeds from 1/10th thru 1/300th seem to be right on. This camera was built in the early 1950's. This model is the 3rd version of the Karat 36 series.
