Historically important for corporate archivists, these are extremely rare to locate and are virtually unseen individually. The original lithographs were produced in only one edition, and included just 2,000. These lithographs are perhaps the most unique, rare, important advertising collectibles that exist for businesses and corporations.About the Artist: Aline Rhonie Hofheimer Brooks was an American aviator and artist born in York, Pennsylvania in 1909. She was an accomplished horsewoman and attended the Dalton School in New York City. Rhonie had several firsts as a pilot and was one of the pioneering women aviation pilots in World War II. She became one of the first members of the Women's Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron (WAFS). Rhonie made a perfect three-point landing in her 125 hp Luscombe Phantom when she touched down in Manchester, New Hampshire, on June 6, 1940. She was known as a flying artist for her work encouraging female participation in the air defense program and British War Relief. She painted the large aviation themed fresco mural in Hangar F at Roosevelt Field.
