Description: Antique 1920s Green Silk empire Napoleonic Dress. An old costume dress for the stage made to look from the early 1800s. With faceted paste rhinestones and colorful silk ribbon trim. With silk floral lamé lace sleeves and trim. With interior boned corset in linen. With original interior label, “Vanity Fair Costumes”. Vanity Fair Costume made the costumes for the production — Springtime of Youth (Oct 26, 1922 - Dec 23, 1922). The setting of the musical play was Portsmouth, NH year 1812 (know as the Empire Period) it’s design reflects it. Good overall vintage condition. Slight break near arm, a few dot stains.
