Description: Quart sized antique stoneware bottle or jug. Impressed initials B.S. on shoulder. Acquired years back in Alabama. Not sure of origin or if this was a beer, whiskey, apothecary, etc. The BS mark is unknown to me, but it’s funny and makes a nice conversation piece. I attempted to track down the maker years back but had little luck so it must be a scarce example. Salt glazed exterior. Nice original condition.
