Description: Here is an antique Asian pitcher with a full figure serpent for the handle. I am not sure if this is Japanese or Chinese, hopefully someone will know and pass along much appreciated information to us! It stands a nice size of about 13" high and roughly 8 1/2" across the widest area. At the top side rim, there is damage. There is a hairline and it looks like someone poorly glued two broken pieces back on, one or two of the pieces is missing. There is gold paint trim wear. I can see a couple of tiny nics in some areas, no big chips. There is roughness along the pointy areas but I think that is the way it is made. I can see some staining on the inside bottom that did not clean out for me when I washed this. Not sure if anyone could repair this neat piece but because of the damage, we are selling it "as is". It weighs 3 1/2 lbs.
