He is in a desert landscape, standing on sand with cacti in the background. The scene is framed by a geometric border. The quality of workmanship on this piece is outstanding. The guitarist and house and hand-sawn and applied to the background. All of the detailing is exquisitely hand-engraved except for the sand, which is hand-stippled. A very fine antique Mexican brooch. Back has its original tube hinge and C-clasp.
