SPECIFICS: There is metal darkening on the exterior and interior of toaster's doors, scratches and wear throughout. The cord that came with this unit appears to be a newer replacement. When tested, this item functioned, but our appraiser recommends that it be displayed as part of a collection or as a decorative piece, not used as inner electrical components may be comprise due to age and wear. Accordingly, please be advised that this item is not warranted as a working toaster. The black rubbers found on doors and feet are worn with faint chipping, but not brittle or cracked -- although one leg is different from other three. This item is presentable and collectible. This piece would make a fine addition to a collection, or serve as a wonderful historical tribute to the way things were.
