The locket features a heavy ornate front and has two windows inside with removeable bezels. The locket is extra deep so could have been a hair or memento locket as well as photo. I don't see a maker's mark. The locket could be used as a small photo frame now since no loop to hang. It is really large and heavy like a small compact. The clear celluloid window covers are still in place. The locket has a tight closure. My photo are of the actual item you are getting.
