Description: A scare and gorgeous vintage plush velvet Italian upholstery fabric. A good thickness and heavy weight, a deep cut velvet in stunning colors of what I might call and aubergine plum tone, with muted sage green, and a gold hued with purple tones. Sturdy yet so very supple and soft. Dates to the early to mid 20th century and is in excellent condition, just a few frays where it was cut on the end. Never used, a great find and such wonderful colors! Rayon and cotton. Selvages intact on both sides, measures 51 1/2" wide and is 100" long.
