All doors and desk operate freely and smoothly. 4 adjustable shelves in glass cabinet. Includes a key that locks the desk and cabinet. Beautiful late 1800's or early 1900's American Victorian Period piece that belonged to my great grandfather and has been in the family for well over 100 years. Mirror is original "hand chipped" corners. The finish is honey oak and is correct satin, not glossy. Lots of 1/4 sawn oak grain showing. Slant secretary has pigeon holes and working drawer.
