Description: Nice antique pair of candle holders, c.1830s. Most likely English. Both push up ejectors work, though one is missing the push button and appears to have an old repair or extension added to it. Both are hallmarked 'w&h' with what appears to be a sitting figure and 'EP' in either a shield or oval. Unfortunately I have no idea who the maker is, I've done a little research with no luck. One stick has a slight lean, the top part of the base appears to lower than the other side, resulting in that, undoubtedly occurring during casting. The base of the other stick has a slight high spot on the bottom, resulting in a slight wobble, from not being ground flat during casting/finishing. No breaks or repairs, normal wear from existing 200 years, with a nice patina. Overall great looking and completely usable. Measures about 10" each. No free shipping to alaska or hawaii. I only ship on wednesday morning. Thank you for looking.
