Description: Antique STONEWARE bowl withvery unusual BLUE FISH design White stoneware bowl, presumed tobe of Asian / Chinese originThe bottom marking is hard to makeout but it looks like the number 1 (or a T)the number 8, and a round marka circle around petals, or a propeller? The bowl - Tea Bowl perhaps?measures 8.5" in diameter at the top rim5" tall This bowl has been repaired with the antique STAPLE method used before adhesives.Aside from the staples, there are a fewhairline cracks and light crazing to the white glaze.The deep, almost Flow Blue glaze is in excellent shape.
