It seems to only have one layer of paint, so it would not be too difficult to strip it down to the beautiful wood shown in the interior. There is a screw instead of a knob on the drawer. The drawer does not have a stop inside, so you can push it all the way back. There is chipping and crackling paint. Photo #8 shows a rough corner on the door bottom. Photo #10 shows a corner cut out of the back. The interior shelf needs to be tacked on one side.
