Description: Antique West Troy Pottery 1 Gal Cobalt Salt Glaze Jug - WEST TROY, N. Y. POTTERY STAMPED ON JUG W.H. Hallenbeck CATSKILL hand written on jug(not sure of last name spelling) He probably had his own business and had hisname put on the jug for advertising reasons, who knows?! A truly amazing collectable West Troy Pottery, N.Y. pottery jug There is a thumb size indention on right side of jug, it’s smooth so I think it may be a thumb print and several inches away, a real old chip, it also is smooth to the touch, one flea bite at mouth of jug, also smooth, just hard to tell really with a piece a 100 or 150 years old.
